Founded in 1912 by Herbert George Gladwell, Copdock Mill originally started as a country mill. Over the years, Copdock Mill has diversified, but it still remains a family owned brand. The Gladwell family have been making Wild Bird Seed for more than 40 years.
It is well-documented that natural habitats and feeding grounds are declining and that our indigenous and visiting bird population need other sources to supplement their feeding requirements. The Gladwell family were one of the first to act on this information back in the mid 1970s and produced a seed mix called “Supreme Wild Bird” and the Copdock Mill Wild Bird range was born.
Over the years the range has grown and developed from the one mix to numerous specially formulated wild bird mixes. With a long history in developing and manufacturing wild bird mixes, Copdock Mill have also added other new products to give you a complete range of wild bird feed and accessories to choose from.
All of our Wild Bird feed mixes are blended here in the UK using the finest quality ingredients. These are sourced from local farmers where possible, supporting local communities and reducing our carbon footprint.
